The art of listening to our bodies is an art that modern time has stolen from us with its demands on our time, our focus, and our lives. The ability to relax to unwind and to focus our energy where it’s needed is becoming harder and harder to do. But with intervention and focus you can gain control over your life!
Reiki is an alternative to medicine and is carried out alongside conventional therapies. Remember when chiropractors were seen as ‘out there’? Reiki is used in many hospitals in the UK and US for the pain and stress management of patients and staff. Reiki is an ancient Japanese stress release art similar to Tai Chi.
Using the energy our own bodies create Reiki simply moves the energy to the areas of the body that require it the most.For example if you are feeling overwhelmed by the events happening in your life and feel out of control Reiki can be a perfect non-intrusive method of stress relief.
Depression – the modern man’s plague, is an area that Reiki is particularly helpful. All of us are required to live in the modern age with all of its demands – social, environmental and psychological.
